Check out utube to figure out the motor install.
I put a review out that was not favorable due to the install of the motor. I went to utube and found a video and got it installed (the mfg instructions are misleading). This unit is amazing and having the motor makes it so easy to work with longer sheets as you can use both hands vs doing it with a crank. Love the unit and can't wait to expand on my pasta making skills!

You pay shipping for returns, damaged when recieved despite good pakaging
I had to pay $38.14 to return a damaged on receipt product. This unit might have been fine for manual use except that the spaghetti/ fettuccine cutter was dented on the underside. The motor bracket is made out of brittle plastic that was broken upon receipt and even if it weren't broken the design is horrible! The bracket covers the hole used to clamp unit to the table, and having made fresh pasta for over 30 years, I can tell you that the machine needs to be securely mounted whether used manually or motorized.I am very sorry to have tried to save $40. Imperia model was $40 cheaper than Mercato-Atlas which is my original unit that still works after 20+ years. I wanted a second unit due to the volume we make... we average 1500 raviolis and 18 lasagna for 3 families 2-3 times per year.Very disappointed!

Fun to use, buying more attachments
It’s a bit cumbersome to figure out how to put together and use but once we got it, we like it. Only thing is, we bought it specifically to make thick round spaghetti only to find out that the two attachments it comes with aren’t capable of making that! We had to purchase an additional attachment, the first which only fits commercial restaurant machines! What a fiasco.

This NOT your Grandmothers pasta maker!!!
The hand crank version, $60. The electric motor version $160. The electric motor that comes with this pasta maker is 100% plastic that is painted to look like chrome. It is cheap and on the very first use, the plastic arm that holds the motor to the pasta maker broke into several pieces. Save your money and just buy the hand crank version and make your kids crank it like I had to 10,000 times with my grandmother. The motor version is a waste of money for a cheap product.

Cheap, not worth it. It came broken
I bought this in September and decided to use it for the first time today. The blue plastic clamp for the motor is not tightening and I can't get the motor to stay on properly. Poor design, I'm so disappointed, the whole reason I bought this was for the motor.

Don’t make them like they use to
Received my pasta maker and must say I am disappointed at the quality of it or lack of quality rather. Very cheap feeling. I thought for sure this Italian made machine would be of better quality for the price but no. No instructions on how to use or assemble. Must go to YouTube for others to teach us. Avrei dovuto comprarne uno dalla Cina!
