I've been using this food heater 5 days a week, for 8 weeks, minus 2 days. No problems. Take a bit of time to warm up for, but not bad. Yesterday, I tested it cooking some jerk chicken thighs because suppose to be able to cook with it. I left it alone for two hours and it came out GOOD. I'm happy with my purchase after 8 week. Don't look like new anymore as expected, but not bad. Check out my photos after cooking with it yesterday for the first time. Will be doing it again. It will cook the food on the bottom so be sure to check it and stir or add a little water so it doesn't dry out too much. I used the 1.5 Liter rectangle Pyrex dish and tested the other sizes up to 8 cups (round Pyrex), easily. The bottom plate gets super hot and do does the cigarette lighter plug. Be careful, my mom burnt her hand on it. It would be helpful to have something to wrap the plug with so that it has a safe place to cool down while traveling. Buy both adapters, this makes it more versatile, plus there's storage on the back side for both that easily slides out when you pull it. I keep both adapters plugged into my unit so I don't have to mess with them. You can see, I ordered the Lake Green, which is really nice and easy to spot in the black interior in my car.

I use this almost everyday to heat up cans of soup or even just to heat water to put into soup. Perfectly plugs into the work truck around 930 am by 12 my lunch is almost too hot. I have reheated chicken wings. Steak , hot sandwiches . I have been in construction all my life I’m a plumber . I wish I would have found this a long time ago

This electric lunch box is FaNtAsTiC! I was meeting up with my daughter as she was passing through town as part of her trip. I thought rather than her spend money on fast food, I could take her some of the soup and chicken I had just made that evening. I portioned out the soup in a Corelle bowl and added a side of chicken tenderloins in aluminum foil. I plugged the electric lunchbox into the car and off we went. It was over 40 minutes in our car before she had a chance to eat it. When she was ready to eat, she had to blow on the soup to cool it down! The chicken tenderloins were perfectly heated. It heated so well, and I was so impressed with the product, that I bought another one for a friend! Unfortunately, I bought the wrong one ( the kind that only plugs into a wall). The friend had thrown all the packaging away before we realized I bought the wrong one. I contacted customer service and they kindly worked with me so that I could still get a refund. Thank you Leo! This is a great product with so many uses — not just for workers, truckers, or students; think get togethers where you’re taking something hot or takeout from your favorite place that you “just want to eat at home,” or maybe just keeping a side dish hot while you’re finishing up the main course! Many uses.

Light weight, easy to clean and store. It gets cold food warmed to 180 degrees in about an hour. It’s the perfect tool to have when you work away from your truck or car. I don’t know how long it will last but if it does go bad I will be getting another one. I don’t know how I got along without it.

This lunch box is great! Easy to use, and heats your food fairly quickly. It takes up very little space on my desk.

Perfect little hot box for lunch. I wanted something that could heat my factor lunches up at my desk without having to use the gross microwave in the lunch room. This does it and on top of that the factor container fits in this perfectly. Nothing ever gets dirty, my factor container the lunch comes in sustains the heat well and I don't even have to re-plate my food. Nothing ever gets dirty. Its perfect. ~20 minutes or so and my lunch heats up to the perfect temperature. Doesn't even blow a fuse.

Excellent. I was able to use my plastic tupperware and had no issue with it getting nearly hot enough to melt. I was actually able to eat my leftovers straight out of the container.
