Good machine
I have had this thing for roughly 10 months and have beaten it up with the amount of animals that I have, you do have to maintain it by pulling some of the filters and blow them out every few days or longer if you don't have five sheding little dogs (Shebas). It also runs 24/7 and again you have to maintain it you can't just leave it alone and expect it to not clog up and possibly break, just like everything else not maintained but I couldn't be more impressed with it. The design is very good and very easy for me to maintain and clean the filters when needed a lot of the times I just use my air compressor for deep cleans and for daily cleans or every few days I use one of those little handheld vacuum / blowers for keyboards on the outside filters. Hope this helps because it was expensive and I was torn on buying it myself because of the price.

I HAVE HIGH HOPES. WILL UPDATE THE REVIEW AFTER USING IT FOR AWHILE.
This is a preliminary review that I'm leaving in order to activate the "free" 5-year warranty. I will update it when I've really used the product for awhile. In the meantime...After so many bad experiences setting up electronic and household products for the first time, the Nuwave was a breeze! All of the parts are clearly labeled. Downloading the app (which I may never use) was simple. I followed the instructions to wash the metal filters in warm soapy water, rinse, allowed to dry completely. And it's now running on the "turbo" setting for an initial cleaning.I'm a cat lover and highly allergic to them. The bedroom is vacuumed and dusted regularly, and the sheets changed every 2 or 3 nights. And the allergy is still a problem. I'm really hoping that the Nuwave addresses (preferably solves) the problem. I chose this machine specifically because the filters are washable. Finding, buying and replacing filters on different devices is a big pain. The machine will notify me (God, I hope it doesn't *text* me!) when filters need cleaning or settings need to be changed.

Excellent quiet purifier
The NuWave air purifier has been a total game changer for me. I have pets and deal with allergies, plus I’m a smoker—and this thing really works. Within a day or two, the air felt cleaner and I noticed a huge reduction in lingering smoke and pet dander. On low, it’s whisper quiet—you barely notice it’s on. Best part? No expensive filter replacements! The filters are washable and reusable, which makes it super cost-effective. If you’re dealing with smoke, pets, or allergies, this purifier is absolutely worth it.

1st impression
Just setup my OxyPure E1000, it's easy to setup, just needed to remove plastic wrappers off of 2 of 3 filter TYPES and plug it in. The buttons are sensitive, touch it lightly and executes your selection, press it too hard makes you think it is not working. The unit is quiet when FAN is at Level 1 or 2, other than that, you can hear it blowing. I like that I can turn off the LEDs at night, makes it go dark but still runs.As far as a air purifier, I'm hoping it removes the VOG smell from Kilauea, and I haven't had a bad no wind night yet, so I can't tell yet. I read that it is difficult to remove VOG, so that was already a given before I purchased it. I'm not sure it removes as much dust as I thought it would either. I guess only time will tell.I wish it used both 5G and 2.4Ghz wireless, right now I have to switch to 2.4G any time I want to use my phone to control it.think those are my random comments. I hope it cleans the dust and VOG out of the air in the house.

NuWave E500
This is my second unit from NuWave, E500 is great 3 stage filter unit, using auto mode makes it simple, plus night mode turning off the lights makes it not a problem to go asleep. Being able to clean and wash filters is another great benefit, cutting down the cost of having to buy filters every 6 to 9 months

This is my Second Nuwave OxyPure Zero
This air purifier really works. We have 3 labs that are in and out all day & the air smells clean. The funny thing is watching the NuWave go on every time they come in.What a difference it made from the house smelling like a kennel! This second purchase is for a relative’s basement that has been treated for mold but we’re worried about spores or dust from treatment. We looked at negative air scrubbers but the specs are better on the NuWave.

$300+ and 7 filters and it does not work as good as a $30 Walmart machine
7 Filters and after running for almost a month in a home with three dogs and a long hair cat, my $30.00 Walmart air cleaner filters out more dust, hair and dander than this $300+ machine. When I opened the box I was amazed by the amount of filters that the machine has, it has a pre-filter screen on it and after almost a month there is close to nothing on and the big round filter looks as clean as it did when I put it in new.Of course I lost some of the paperwork that came with it so I will probably take a big ding in my refund, but any money back is better than nothing for this piece of junk, I should have read more of the bad reviews because I am finding out the hard way that the bad reviews are a lot more accurate than the good ones.
