Great strings
Put them on my Grestch g2220. Had a really hard time finding the gauge I needed. Stretched them out a few days, and no problem with them staying in tune. Sound great. Play great. Will buy them again.

Great sound and easy to play
These strings are just what I hoped for, which was a not-too-muddy sound in a flatwound string. I like flatwounds because they don't have the finger squeak (zing!) when you move your hands from note to note like roundwounds do, and I like the deep bassy sound of them. But some flatwound strings can be too bassy on a particular bass guitar. These are just right. I'm using them on two bass guitars and like them very much. Highly recommended.

Great strings coming from a beginner
I've had these for about a year and a half and I like the way they feel. It's made bass a lot more endurable for me as a beginner

Great light flatwounds, especially for short scale basses.
Excellent light, lower tension, very flexible, flatwounds. I use them on a short scale Ibanez Mikro bass and they fit well, tune up easily, and play wonderfully. IMO they're probably among the best strings around for short scale basses, and also for fretless... -And they're not snobby and overpriced about it either...

Save your fingers!
I have been a bass player for a bit over five years now. I started out with a full-scale fender jazz Bass which I struggled with due to having small hands in very short fingers. At some point I discovered short scale Bass! Last year I ended up kind of shredding my middle plucking finger. I reoffended a couple times after the fact, and decided I needed to have smoother strings. Finding flat-wound strings for short scale Bass was quite an endeavor in itself. Not many string makers make them. Ironically, I couldn't even find them in guitar center. So I turned to Amazon, and there they were! These strings are like silk. And for me, they have a more thump/deep tone to them, which is what I love.If you're looking for something brighter, I would suggest something else, perhaps semi flat, would be a good compromise.
