This is for Barrentine Indoor pure bright lamp oil (blue label). It was bought to test out an old ships anchor lamp I've restored. Burning something like this has to produce some sort of smell or fumes. However, I was very pleased with this. It burns quite bright and doesn't have anything like the amount of odour as normal paraffin does. There is nothing greatly unpleasant at all. You can burn it without any strong smells and a lamp full of it doesn't make a room smell at all.It's the second bottle I've bought and have not yet got any issues with it.It does require sensible use and keeping in a safe place as it is dangerous stuff in the wrong hands or if it gets near anyone's mouth.

it doesn't smell and it burns really clean. It's too expensive tho. It produces a nice smokeless flame that creates a beautiful ambiance in my riverside warehouse apartment. I sometimes pretend i am Captain 'Lucky' Jack Aubrey and chase my girlfriend around in the warm glow of an old oil lamp. Arrrgghh.

This oil is perfect for indoor lamps, it is completely odourless which is what we require for our old Victorian oil lamps. It arrived quickly, the packaging was a little sparse but luckily it arrived us damaged loose in an oversized box.

It does exactly what I want, it burns brightly and doesn't give off lots of smoke like some others do. It also doesn't smell. Perfect product and it was delivered quickly and securely packaged,

Am not sure who is using this for home use, it smells like lighter fluid! Would not want anywhere near pets, or young children. Wouldn't use indoors.
