Kidney Restore and Kidney Shield for Cats & Dogs Two-Pack

Searched everywhere for a product to help my pup with chronic kidney disease. This company specializes in kidney supplements for humans and pets so I was obligated to try them out. Glad I did, the kidney restore is easy to use - I mix it in his food once a day and he enjoys it. His kidney function has improved tremendously. I’ve been using the shield on opposite days and he enjoys that as well. I’ve noticed a difference in his behavior and will be taking him to the Vet soon to check out his progress.

I like that this comes with clear instructions. It's also nice that the expiration dates are printed very clearly on the bottom of the containers. I've only been using it a little while so it's too soon to tell if it's helping my dog's kidneys. I put a little of the powder with his breakfast, and a little of the oil with his dinner. He licks his bowl clean, and I catch him going back to it to see if there's more in there.The only thing I could imagine that would make it better would be if there was a calorie listing. I keep track of my dog's daily calories because he has been a little overweight at times in his life. So it would be nice to know if these items have caloric values. I'm grateful that it doesn't include a bunch of un-needed ingredients because my dog has food allergies which include chicken and potato, and it seems most products contain one or both.

I have a large male cat who is getting on in years. He spends part of every day hunting our rural backyard for rodents, but he also gets wet food and a quality kibble. I know that cats often need kidney support as they get older and I’ve tried a few different supplements and thought I’d get this 2-pack. You get “Kidney Restore” in the jar, a powder, and “Kidney Shield” in the pump bottle.My first concern is, will the boy eat the products? If not, doesn’t matter how good they are. Answer: yes, he’ll take both. I mix a little of the powder into his wet food – I don’t use the full scoop, which is pretty large. About half that will do. The liquid product has a strong smell! Very fishy. However, if I put a couple of squirts onto his kibble and mix it in, he will eat it.Kidney and urinary tract health is important to both cats and dogs, and especially necessary in older cats like my 12-year old tom. Seems to me, the price of $60 is high, but then again, if they keep my cat in good shape, that’s OK with me.

My older pup has been kidney/bladder so I gave this a shot. So happy I did- it has helped immensely! The color and smell of her urine improved within a week. She was having frequent accidents inside, so I became very acquainted with the different smells. Sorry to be so graphic! My vet put her on meds, but nothing was actually helping long-term. I'm convinced this product helped! She has less accidents and those accidents are "normal urine". Another plus is that she actually enjoyed the flavor and waits for me to put it on her food. Once I ran out she seemed offended hahaI would highly recommend giving this a try if your furbaby is having issues.

My cat was diagnosed with end stage kidney disease. I put her on a regular diet of special kidney friendly food and added some supplements: a phosphate binder, this product (Kidney Restore), and water additives. She is doing very well after a year of ongoing treatment. I can't say whether this product was significant or not, but I wanted to do everything possible to help her survive and recover.

I have an older dog with urinary issues. She tends to get nervous before peeing and paces for a while before going as quickly as possible. I was hoping this could help her, and so far it looks promising! She isn’t quite as nervous and now takes her time a little more. So far so good!

I used this product to support my 3 year old lab mix and 8 year old hound mix. I would sprinkle the powder on their dog food for breakfast and pour the oil over the dinner in the evening. Since using the powder and oil supplements, my dogs were more interested in eating their food, especially my older dog who usually protests eating! I also noticed a difference in each dog's coat, both have shiney and healthy fur since using this product. I am sure this is due to the nutrients found in these supplements. I am very satisfied with this Kidney Support for my fur babies, their health is very important to me! I believe this product aided in providing nutrients that their normal dog food was lacking. I would recommend to any dog owner, after consulting with your vet first!
