Great project kit, do Step 1 first.
My 6yo grandson and I had a great time building this, and he said it was fun. He likes it and even drew his own logo for the box. The instructions leave a bit to be desired. Do STEP 2 (screw the speakers on the baffle board) before Step 1 (connect the speaker wires to the circuit board), and make sure both speaker wire terminals face the same long side.Also, the Bluetooth connects to Z-Horse. They don't tell you that, but it was a process of elimination.

Great product
My son absolutely love this. He ended up attaching it to his electric skateboard and cruise around town with a mini speaker. Everybody thought it was awesome. He had more fun building.It

As advertised!
Was as advertised, came with all the parts and went together nice and tight. You will need a Phillips head screw driver to complete this though.

Good for kids!
Good for 7-10YO and above. Perfect project to take time and learn. Educationally appeasing. Size is small, but expected. Durability is what you’d expect.

Fun but can be better
Kid loved the gift, and we had fun building the speaker. Bluetooth connection was easy. Nice design. Only problem is sound quality is not worthy, though not expecting it to be awesome but not worth the hassle. Also, required 4 AA batteries. I would have preferred it to be rechargeable. Overall, great gift idea for elementary kids and fun project with parents who doesn't mind the downsides.

Awesome STEM kit!
Our 8 year old absolutely loved building this Bluetooth speaker, He was so proud of Himself, gave Him a sense of independence doing it all by Himself.These STEM kits are a great Educational tool, good for any child who loves to tinker.

Speakers aren't that great
This was fun to set up, but a couple of things first as to why only 3 stars.One, the wires weren't completely held on very well and I had to solder it and use wire tube's to keep them from bending/ breaking.Two, The speakers aren't that great. I didn't expect a whole lot, but these really crackle, are spotty and doesn't have a great reception. I could have gotten a faulty one. Just not impressed.Three, not a lot of range for the blue tooth have to keep whatever it's connected close.None the less, my son loves it.
