Bought this as I had lots of re-seeding to do in my old house. This worked really well, although you have to scatter it at the right time of year so your lawn gets enough water and sunlight. The grass seeds actually last a good while if you keep them stored in good condition. Managed to use them 9 months later in the spring. Good product and would buy again.

First bought 10kg, laid on 25th March on a large area of hard clay, after 13 days with the nights getting down close to freezing the seed started growing, has now been 3 weeks and looks good, a little patchy but I’m sure it will be full growth soon. After I knew it was a good product I bought a further 15kg to cover another area. This was spread on 19th April as the temperatures were a little better, after a week I could see the seed start to grow. Would never normally write a review but I’m very happy with how fast the seed started to grow and its coverage. After reading so many reviews trying to see if I was spreading the seed too early but to no real conclusion, I hope this review helps others.

Fantastic seed. Cant recommend enough, turned a patchy lawn into a lovely one. Just prepare the area well. ideally scarified first to remove old grass then sow seed and water daily for 2-3 weeks and boom it grows like mad. Definitely gonna buy again.

I would give this product zero stars if I could. I purchased 5Kg of seeds to over seed a small area of lawn which had been scarified and top-soiled. I read the good reviews in the hope that I'd get a decent sprouting of grass from the seeds.Complete waste of time and money. I put down three times as much seed as required but not one seed has germinated. I've basically paid £35 for a bag of husks.The weather has been perfect, sunshine and rain, but still nothing. The seeds have been down for 3 weeks and I think I can safely give up on them and put it down to experience. I should have gone to my local garden centre and just bought something off the shelf.

Great quality and has last me forever. Covers alot of ground and grass quality lovely when comes through. Easy to use and germination rate is quick.

Had grown well in most areas, however patches in other areas where it has struggled to grow. Not quite living up to expectations.
