Teaching Torches with USB Portable Long Range Rechargeable Torch Green Light Multifunctional Small Torches Super Bright Suitable for Outdoor and Sales Display Teachers, Astronomy Enthusiasts

We have a couple of impertinent seagulls that have taken to sitting on the parked car outside and making a raucous noise before we are ready to wake. A friend suggested a green laser pointer so, one quick delivery later and this was pressed into use even before I had charged it. To my amazement the seagulls responded immediately with a swift and welcome departure! Although it came with no instructions another reviewer noted that to get a single green pointer one needs to unscrew the front end and remove it completely otherwise the torch displays multiple small green lights which may look attract on a ceiling but won’t shift a noisy gull. To my relief I no longer need to put my head under a pillow to block out the squawking and the car paintwork doesn’t need such frequent cleaning either!

This product is brilliant for scaring the magpies, seagulls, pigeons etc which keep attacking my birds feeders or landing on the roof of my car. The metal tube/light fits comfortably in the hand and I find the press button very responsive which is great especially when it comes to scaring birds. One thing I must point out as it isn't clear in the instructions which came with the light, that to get the pointer light you have to unscrew the small attachment at the top which allows you to get various patterns of lights and remove it completely. I've only just realised this as I was going to leave a negative review based on the fact I couldn't get a pointer light and my pesky birds were not bothered by the 'disco' light choice. Voila the lightbulb moment when I found the pointer light, it works a treat. I tested it on a magpie sitting on the roof of the house across the road (not pointed directly at birds eyes) by wiggling light around him and it worked, he flew off immediately. However I have found the pigeons are a little more stubborn to budge but I just keep shining pointer around them and they have also flown off. The light is bright and for me it 100% does the job I bought it for, a bird scarer. However I have tried it around my room as if I was using it as a teaching aid/pointer and the light beam is bright, crisp and clear. This result is in the daylight as well as at night so would also be effective in a room with dimmed lighting if doing a presentation. The actual metal body of the light feels solid and substantial, the only thing which moves or rattles a little on it is the rotating light display screw which is supposed to be mobile. Charging up by USB is simple although I am still using the power which the torch came with so it looks as though the battery once charged has a decent usage time. I'm happy with the price paid as I think the light itself is well made, sturdy and should last a long time.

The media could not be loaded. I only wanted the one beam that points to the stars(like the pic indicates) that's the only thing it doesn't do, just Xmas lights

Does what it says. Yet to use at night as sky pointer but see no issues. Simple to use and charge. Yet to know how long it lasts...
