Q: what is the deflated size?

when it is flat it would be 15" x 8" and it can also be rolled up when deflated to 9" x 4".

Q: Does it deflate well?

Inflates slowly but blowing into the tube helps a lot. It deflates but rolling the pillow helps to deflate it quickly. Good support pillow!

Q: Does anyone know if I can purchase a cover for this pillow and if so where and how much? (Free shipping is a plus!)

I just use a pillow case folded over. For the varilite pillows on my recumbent bike seats, I bought them with covers that have straps to attach them to the seats. The pillows with those covers are available from Hostel Shoppe in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

Q: What is the size of the pillow? I do not want dog bone shape. Is it straight across the bottom instead of curved?

This is an amazing pillow! About the same size as your computer keyboard. And striaght on all sides. I just returned from a 9 1/2 hour flight and this pillow saved my lower back. I have used it now on about a 1/2 dozen long haul flights and my back has been great after each one.I have the grey one and the disadvantage is you have to remember to pick it up on your way off the plane. It really blends into the seat colors and could be left behind.
