Kraftek Pool Keeper K1
Got this on Friday Sept. 13, 2024. We had the wind and remnants of Hurricane Francine come through with two days of high winds. My 30k gallon pool looked like a compost pile. I used a leaf rack to get the big stuff out while I charged the unit. My first use was ok using the extendable pole it came with. Not much reach but cleaned the steps nicely. Sat. Without recharging I attached it to one of my standard pool poles and went into the diving well. It filled up pretty quick but was doing a good job. I was not expecting much due to the amount and size of the leaves. I cleaned it up, emptied the bag, and returned to cleaning. This time I used it more like my skimmer attached manual vacuum. Slow and easy, and it is really doing a good job. Almost clean enough to switch to the finer mesh bag.If it continues to work like this, my original plan of using it for light clean ups in between robot cleans should be a walk in the park.I will edit this review as I learn more.Based on my first use I would recommend it if you want something to do what I do and yet do heavier cleaning as well.Edit: I have used this many times now and really like it.

Poor electrical design - DANGEROUS
I wish I could give this 0 stars, but I don't have that option. This vacuum was VERY poorly designed for its purpose of vacuuming in water. The charge port is covered when the power switch is on, but this switch is not watertight, which mean water leaks into the charging port. The rear attachment for the pile is flimsy, and given how heavy the vacuum is, it was only a matter of time before it cracked. And guess what this flimsy piece of plastic covers? That's right--the motor and the electric innards of the thing. It worked well for the roughly 45 days I used it before it either would shut off while turned on, or worse, would spontaneously turn on while switched off depending on how you move it. I presume this points to internal water contamination creating sorts, which makes this vacuum not only a bad product, but frankly a DANGEROUS product. I'm shocked this thing passed safety lab inspections. Why write this now? I threw this thing into my shed at the end of the pool season, and I realized I was so angry at this ripoff that I didn't even want to think about how much I paid for this garbage. It is the start of the season now, and I had forgotten I had no reliable working vacuum until tried to use this thing and all the memories came flooding back. You know, much like its motor compartment floods with water before its controls short out.I see this brand is no longer selling, but I see a new brand InoKraft which seems to be the same people with a changed name. The design and even model naming schemes are the same--this was a K1 and now InoKraft sells a K1.5. InoKraft, right now, if someone said they would shoot my dog unless I bought a vacuum from these people? I'd grieve for little Fido, but I'm not giving these people one red cent more.

Should've bough this sooner
This has been a game changer, and I should've bought a pool vac sooner. I charged the vacuum as indicated and it was good to go. Assembly was very easy...and so far so good. I haven't had to use it for an extended period of time so I can't comment if it will last the actual runtime indicated (60 minutes). I've used this pool vac twice and I've had no issues. Cleaning the filter is easy. Our pool is next to a California Pepper Tree, which drops leaves into the pool all day, every day. This vacuum makes it easy to clean up the pool, and in particular the spa, where there is no skimmer. Speaking of skimmer - this vacuum allows me to suck up the leaves where the skimmer doesn't reach. Suction on this device is pretty good, and it was hard to pass up the price (bought it for $99.99). Seems to me that most of the vacuums I saw on here are all basically the same, so for me it really came down to the price on why I chose this model (as well as reading the reviews). My only some what negative comment (more of an observation) is I would've like to see the handle/brush head be able to pivot a bit more and not just back and forth (if this makes any sense). A longer pole would be beneficial as well. Not a big deal though on both of these points; I highly recommend this vacuum. Thanks for reading and I hope this review helps you. Happy cleaning!

Solid unit and great support
I wrote a negative review because the unit died and support was unresponsive. After writing that review, I did get a very good response from support and today received a replacement unit. The new unit works well, as advertised, and I do like the construction and features. Hopefully, this one lasts for years, and I do feel I can rely on the support staff.
