Loud fan
The cooler works like it should in the sense that it helps keep my gaming laptop cool but the fan sounds cheap, if you run the fan at all it give a plastic vibration sound, under 1000 rpms the plastic vibration sound is bad, at about 1100 to 1500 the sound is not as loud but you will get a bit more normal fan nose, and over 1500 the normal fan nose is just a bit to much for me but after testing it did drop temps/increased clocks a bit on my intel 1290h and 3070 ti laptop.

million degree surface pro
my surface pro 7 has got to be the hotteset one in the world... when it heats up - it slows my system down significantly to a point of anymost unusable.i didnt know that something like this existed.the stand on the back of my surface has also broken of at the hinge so i hav no way to prop it up until i get the new hinges - this has given me a fix for both issues...it says its for 15' & up... but im able to manage with my 13' devicesit does really cool the device down signifiantly & improve its perfomance tenfoldmy old issue is with the lights... there is no way to set them to not turn on as soon as you power on the fan pad.i wish it worked the opposite where the lights dont come on until you turn them on but instead - they come on automatically & you have to turn them off.the fan speeds are super customizable with a barrel roller thing...all the way through small increments exceeding 2400. the ability to set the fans to speeds like tht is super helpful. it does, however, get fairly loud.fwiw - this is a great product that really saves your computer from overheating. the surface pro does not have internal fans but instead they opted for thermal sensors which clearly do not work. & with a device that expensive.. i shouldnt have to improvise with something like this but im grateful it exists since thats what i have to do.keeps it cool & productive.

Works well - button problem is only issue
This thing absolutely works to cool the laptop and it being adjustable (both in air volume and illumination) is very nice.Unfortunately the power button on the unit I received requires a disturbing amount of force to activate - to the point that I'm worried about breaking something. Perhaps I just got a bad one?
