One capsule is 22mg of zinc. If each capsule was 11mg, it would be so much better.

Do your own research please. Got this for certain reasons and as far as I can tell it has been helpful. Good price point, seems to be of good quality. Helps with so many different processes in the body.

I've counted on Swansons for years. My doctor says this type of zinc is the most helpful. Most absorbable than other types.. and Swansons has the best price!

I got a bunch of these since they were cheap and I like the idea of zinc picolinate (which is supposed to be the most bioavailable form of zinc). I got the Now foods kind, too (the 50mg). I feel better taking the Now kind than this, but I try not to take the Now kind every day since it's over the upper-limit for zinc (which is 40mg). So, I take it every other day and take one or two of these (20mg pills) the rest of the time. It seems to work out pretty well.I'm not sure why I feel better when I take the Now kind. I'm pretty sure it's not just because there's more of it. I like the look of the ingredients on this more, so I'm surprised the Now kind makes me feel better. Kind of weird. Maybe Now uses more picolinic acid to make the zinc picolinate. I wish I could picolinic acid by itself. Wikipedia it--it's great stuff from the look of it.

I chose this product as it is the most bioavailable/highly absorbed formulation of zinc that is also not upsetting to my stomach. Most other formulations have caused me stomach upset, even with food intake.This particular brand is the best value for your money with the few "filler" ingredientsThis is a definite repurchase

I began purchasing Swanson Zinc Picolinate because I was told I needed to take more zinc. Zinc supplements I bought in the drug store were always in tablet form that stuck in my throat, made me feel nauseous, often even if taken with food, etc.This zinc product by Swanson had good reviews compared to some others and was supposed to be a more highly absorbable form of zinc. I am careful to always take it with food, but I have NEVER once felt sick after taking it, unlike other types of zinc I have tried. I used to avoid taking zinc for immunity just because of how nauseous it could make me feel. Now, I will not be buying any other brand.

Product seems to be very effective. Used to clear up skin conditions - haven't had to use topicals. Arrived in good condition.
