Easy install and perfect fit.
I recently had my old plastic thru-hull fitting break off at a dock due to heavy wind and strong waves. I decided to change it with something more sturdier. This looks like it should hold up for quite sometime. I restored many things on my boat this year and glad this was available. It fit right in place on my Bayliner Trophy 2002WA and no need to replace the hose since that was a perfect fit as well. Don’t forget to use the marine silicone to help keep it waterproof. I don’t keep the boat docked in a slip so it lives it’s life in and out of the water. This fitting should last for many years.

Get the good stuff so you never have to do the install again.
If you can get two wrenches on this one, you can hold the flange on the hex shaped section and tighten the nut with another wrench. So you can install these yourself! They are nice and shiney and feel well made. I installed these on a 89 Stamas 255Ff for the kitchen and bathroom sinks and the midship ice chest drains.

Very comfortable.
I like the way if feels using it in my tube whirlpool. It takes the pressure off my tailbone. Some grip on tub surface but it is easy to adju👍

Clean look, will buy again
a little expensive compared to the cheap non-metallic kind but fit my bilge hose just fine. Looks pretty clean on the outside of the hull as well. It came with the lock nut but you will have to get some silicone adhesive that is rated for above/below water line for through hull fittings. I will probably replace the other through hulls with this same style as the need arises.

Commercial duty stainless steel
I liked the fact that it is stainless and it is very sturdy. I used this on the wooden / aluminum stern of my boat using a 1 inch diameter hole saw. Very easy installation.

Nice Quality Part
I used this to replace a white plastic that was original equipment on my boat. The plastic one was brittle and broke easily. This part fit the original hole in the boat and connected to the 3/4 inch hose without problems. Be sure to measure the hole in the boat and the hose size. I used a dial indicator.
